Alim Beisembayev

Alim Beisembayev

Presented by Saffron Hall

“There is no doubting Beisembayev’s stature” declared one critic when the 23-year-old swept the board at the 2021 Leeds International Piano Competition.

“A real musical personality” announced another, and this solo recital is absolutely brimming with personality: from the poetry of Chopin, Ligeti and Ravel to the glittering colours of Stravinsky’s The Firebird. A new star has been discovered; catch him as he rises.
