Cambridge Suzuki Young Musicians Summer Festival Concert

Cambridge Suzuki Young Musicians Summer Festival Concert

Presented by Cambridge Suzuki Young Musician

Piano students aged 5-17 years of Stephen & Betty Power perform solo and duets from Beginning to Diploma level, featuring works by Berlin-based UK born composer Charlotte Bray. Chapter One, Chapter Two, Chapter Three is a series of piano solos conceived as musical portraits to celebrate the birth of Charlotte’s friends’ children and can be played by young pianists and adults alike.

Alongside these recently composed pieces stands repertoire spanning three centuries, including works by Bach, Clementi, Chopin, Grieg, Kodaly, Bartok, Kabalevsky, Rachmaninoff, Gubaidulina and Kurtag. The programme promises to be a true celebration of the Piano – the King of Instruments - in all its variety of expression.

This concert is free and open to CSYM family, friends and members of the public. You do not need to pre-book tickets

NB: Suitable for children age 6+ with accompanying adult
