David McAlmont presents: Billie Holiday at Carnegie Hall

David McAlmont presents: Billie Holiday at Carnegie Hall

Presented by Saffron Hall

David McAlmont

Inspired by Billie Holiday’s legendary 1956 concert at Carnegie Hall, where her performance was accompanied by extracts from her autobiography Lady Sings The Blues, singer David McAlmont gives his unique interpretations of the Lady Day catalogue while quoting from her extraordinary life story. The show includes many of the most well-known Holiday songs, including What A Little Moonlight Can Do, My Man, and Don’t Explain.

This event is due to finish at approximately 9.20pm, and will have a 20-minute interval.
