Foyer Folk: Honey & The Bear

Foyer Folk: Honey & The Bear

Presented by Saffron Hall

Honey and the bear

British folk and roots duo Honey & the Bear combine delicately interweaving vocal harmonies with emotive and evocative songwriting.

With a diverse range of sounds and textures, and rhythms that flow from the fast and furious to gentle ballads, their live performances are spirited and dynamic. Conjuring stories in song, they tell tales of Suffolk folklore, courageous people they admire, their passion for nature and the odd heartbreak or two.

Honey & The Bear will be joined by special guest Toby Shaer and support Belinda Gillet. Toby Shaer is an up and coming folk musician from Leigh on Sea, Essex. He is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer who has worked and shared stages with some of the finest musicians in the folk/country music scenes.

Belinda’s music is influenced by Jeff Buckley, Nick Drake and The Sundays. Often compared to Joan Baez and Sandy Denny, Belinda is exploring a new English sound: dark, contemporary folk, using different sounds and atmospherics to replace the acoustic guitar on which Belinda composed the songs.

We've invited street food van Azahar to serve a selection of Spanish inspired food at this event. Ticket bookers will be contacted with more information about how to pre-order in the week before this event.
