Feel the heat! Get ready, The National Youth Orchestra ignites a musical fire on 16 April at Saffron Hall.

Without air there is no fire, teenage passion for music fuels the musical flames. As melodies flicker across the orchestra, they grow and envelop you with their blazing sound and searing passion.

Stravinsky’s Firebird fans the flames high. This music tells the story of the phoenix rising from the ashes, it is one of the most famous pieces of orchestral music ever written and made its composer a superstar. NYO’s teenage superstars bring their inimitable energy to ignite our imaginations.
