Presented by Saffron Hall

Ed Lyon will replace Andrew Kennedy as tenor soloist for this concert.

For this special CUMS May Week Concert celebrating over 30 outstanding years of music making, Stephen Cleobury, Director of Music at King's College Cambridge, has chosen Elgar's monumental oratorio The Dream of Gerontius for his final concert as CUMS Chorus Principal Conductor. Joining him will be three soloists who all started their musical careers in Cambridge - Jennifer Johnston, Ed Lyon and Ashley Riches - all of whom are now established professional singers. Don’t miss this inspirational concert - and debut Saffron Hall appearance - from one of the world’s most renowned musical societies.

Running time: approximately 100 minutes with no interval.
