City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra

City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra

Presented by Saffron Hall

Nicola Benedetti.

Mahler’s Fourth Symphony begins like Mozart and ends with a child’s idea of heaven. You can’t have missed the buzz around the CBSO and Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla, and Mahler’s gentlest symphony will make the perfect showcase for her artistry: the climax of a concert that also features harpist Xavier de Maistre and flautist Marie-Christine Zupancic in Mozart’s exquisite Flute & Harp Concerto.

This concert will finish at approximately 9.45pm

Orchestras for all: new ticket pricing scheme
Many of Saffron Hall's concerts, even ones that sell out, lose money.

In order to maintain our programme of orchestras from around the world we are asking those who can afford more to pay an amount that reflects the true cost of their attendance.

When you book top priced tickets online for orchestral concerts (such as this one) you will be given the opportunity to pay this new price. Please select the ‘Orchestras for all’ price type from the drop down menu.

This is completely optional and the additional support this provides will allow us to keep the arts accessible across the region. Your help is very much appreciated.
