La Serenissima: Vivaldi's Women

La Serenissima: Vivaldi's Women

Presented by Saffron Hall

Please note, this is a rescheduled event from Saturday 6 February 2021. All audience members have been contacted about their options.

“Most serene” is what they called Venice, but there’s nothing placid about this celebration of Vivaldi, performed by an award-winning period instrument ensemble under its founder-director Adrian Chandler. “A pure and simple case of exemplary Baroque ‘n roll” declared one critic. “La Serenissima nailed absolutely every single piece – and, for that matter, every single note – they played.”
