National Youth Girls' Choir: Change is Coming

National Youth Girls' Choir: Change is Coming

Presented by National Youth Choirs of Great Britain

The National Youth Girls' Choir performs a programme of music inspired by the theme of 'environment'.

Words and music about nature and climate change range from Joni Mitchell's Big Yellow Taxi and Louis Armstrong's What A Wonderful World to Robert Schumann's In meinem garten and the setting of a speech by Greta Thunberg, making for an afternoon of uplifting and inspirational music.

The concert will also include the premiere of Lisa Robertson's Into The Sea. Lisa is a recent composer on the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain's Young Composers programme for emerging professionals.
