Paul Lewis

Paul Lewis

Presented by Saffron Hall

**Please note, this is a rescheduled concert from Sunday 24 February 2019. If you booked a ticket for the original concert and have not requested a refund, your original tickets are still valid for this new date.**

Few great composers strike as many sparks off each other as Haydn, Beethoven and Brahms, and Paul Lewis’ exploration of their piano music has been one of the highlights of recent seasons at Saffron Hall. Now, this “masterly” pianist (The Independent) reaches journey’s end with Haydn at his darkest, Brahms’s autumnal Op.117, and – to crown it all – the boundless invention and wit of Beethoven’s mighty Diabelli Variations.
