Spring 23 now on sale

An exciting programme of events from January 2023 until August 2023 including returning favourites Aurora Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra and London Philharmonic Orchestra


Saffron Hall is pleased to announce a thrilling new season. The spring season launches with A New Year’s Celebration on Monday 2nd January 2023.

The London African Gospel Choir, the internationally acclaimed group of African and Caribbean singers, instrumentalists and dancers bring this glorious reinterpretation of Paul Simon’s Graceland on Saturday 4th February 2023.

Saffron Hall is pleased to welcome award-winning bass-baritone Sir Bryn Terfel on Saturday 4th March 2023. The concert will include music by Schubert, Debussy, Wagner, and Finzi, traditional Welsh folksongs, and a selection of songs by Ivor Novello.

On Friday 31st March 2023, the famous Dunedin Consort, led by director Benjamin Bayl, will play a programme of fiery vocal music by Handel alongside rising star, soprano Nardus Williams.

In April 2023, Cbeebies makes its first visit to the Hall in a fun-filled ocean adventure for all the family! On Sunday 23rd April, join BBC Symphony Orchestra for CBeebies: Ocean Adventure to search for endangered creatures, find out fascinating facts, and collect sounds and pictures for your very own musical ocean scrapbook. This exciting and magical event features popular CBeebies characters, theme tunes, orchestral treats, live action film and animation.

A Saffron Hall favourite returns on Monday 1st May, the Aurora Orchestra for American Rhapsody, a programme of American greats. Conducted by Nicholas Collon, this concert will feature popular classics including Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue and the Symphonic Dances from Bernstein’s West Side Story.

Following her sensational debut performance at Saffron Hall in 2017, Alina Ibragimova returns to Saffron Hall with the London Philharmonic Orchestra on Sunday 7th May, who perform Mahler’s Fifth Symphony.

On Sunday 14th May, folk and roots superstar Rhiannon Giddens takes to the stage. In the words of the Smithsonian Magazine, an “electrifying singer and banjo player” who “gives fresh voice to old American traditions”. She is joined at Saffron Hall by fellow multi-instrumentalist Francesco Turrisi, with whom she has enjoyed a long and fruitful collaboration, including a Grammy-nominated album There is No Other and Grammy-winning album They’re Calling Me Home.
