The fast-rising Cuban star and her ensemble celebrate her Caribbean heritage in her new album Caribe. The Havana-born, cellist, singer and composer’s music is a unique and intoxicating cocktail of European, South American and Caribbean ingredients; spritely Latin rhythms and sultry ‘son’, with a whiff of jazz, Argentinian tango and Parisian chanson thrown into the mix.

An astonishingly original international troubadour, her fluid silvery voice, breathtaking instrumental technique, restless imagination and an all-embracing stylish eclecticism makes for a beguiling brew.
