Saffron Opera Group: Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg

Presented by Saffron Opera Group

Tickets from £16

Price includes a commission of £1.00

To celebrate ten years of extraordinary ambition and unparalleled success, the internationally acclaimed Saffron Opera Group proudly looks back to its first triumphant venture, presenting Wagner’s comic masterpiece for the second time.

Cast with beloved SOG favourites, stellar newcomers making company debuts, and even some singers returning from the first performance a decade ago, the production is conducted by renowned Wagnerian Michael Thorne. Will Walther win the singing competition and marry Eva? Will cheating Beckmesser get his comeuppance? Will this prove to be an evening of dazzling high jinks and serious enjoyment? You bet!
