Saffron Opera Group

Presented by Saffron Opera Group

All Figaro and Susanna want to do is get married and enjoy their wedding night – is that too much to ask? Turns out it is. Their master Count Almaviva has eyes for Susanna. Marcellina has eyes for Figaro. The Countess wants their help to regain her husband’s love. And all the while, the enthusiastic page-boy Cherubino keeps getting in the way….

Saffron Opera Group brings Mozart’s sparkling comedy of romantic misunderstandings to life with a luxury cast of internationally renowned singers - including many who have become favourites with SOG audiences - and dazzling new stars. Come and be delighted by Mozart’s ravishing melodies, and tickled by one of the opera world’s most deliciously witty plots. Join Saffron Opera Group as it celebrate ten joyous years of acclaimed performances, including a complete Ring Cycle and operas by Mozart and Strauss: ‘incandescent’ (Opera Magazine), ‘highest international standards’ (Wagner News), ‘spellbinding’ (The Guardian).
