Nicola Benedetti the first in a series of free digital performances from Saffron Hall

26 February 2021

We are delighted to announce a new series of free digital performances from world-class artists, recorded in Saffron Hall and available from the comfort of your living room.

Internationally acclaimed violinist and Saffron Hall favourite Nicola Benedetti kicks off this series with a stunning solo programme including works by Bach, Paganini and Ysaÿe. This 'recorded as live' digital performance, filmed at Saffron Hall, will also feature an interview with Nicola hosted by Angela Dixon, and will be available to watch on our website for 28 days from Friday 5 March at 7.30pm.

To make this performance available to as many people as possible, we have made it free to watch online, with no need to book a ticket. If you would like to show your support, we would love you to share the video with someone new to Saffron Hall. You will also have the opportunity to make a donation which will be shared between Saffron Hall and Nicola's chosen charities: The Benedetti Foundation and The Cumnock Tryst.

Nicola is just the first in a fantastic line-up of artists who will be creating digital performances at Saffron Hall to get you through the next few months, which we can't wait to share with you - watch this space!
