Saffron Hall announces the cast of family panto Sleeping Beauty

Saffron Hall has announced the exciting cast line-up for this year’s family pantomime, Sleeping Beauty, which will run from Monday 21 to Tuesday 29 December 2026.

The Sleeping Beauty cast includes some returning panto favourites and top musical theatre performers. Much-loved local radio presenter Andy Lake returns for a 3rd year as the hilarious Presto, alongside Saffron Hall’s glamorous Dame Drew Donnell, back for a 4th year, who will be gracing the stage in a whole new wardrobe of gowns as ‘The Queen.’ Joining them will be the multi-talented Laura Barnard, who swaps her villainous side for the good side as Merline the Wizard! Hope Thompson plays Princess Aurora, alongside Daniel Breakwell as the Prince and Jessie Waterfield as Carabosse.

Sleeping Beauty, a spectacular pantomime from KD Theatre Productions, promises dazzling scenery, show-stopping songs, and glittering costumes that will have the whole family cheering for more.

In the kingdom of Walden Ever After, far, far away, a beautiful princess awaits her true love’s kiss to awaken her from a deep, magical slumber. But beware! The wicked fairy Carabosse has cast a spell, and only the bravest heroes can break it.
