Saffron Hall Open Morning

Saturday 7 June 10am - 1pm

Join us for a special morning of live music, behind-the-scenes tours, and a unique music sale — all in support of Saffron Hall Trust.

Music Sale

We’re delighted to present a rare opportunity for collectors and music lovers alike. Thanks to the generous donation of Professor Sir Barry Ife CBE — former Chair of Saffron Hall Trust and Principal of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama — we’ll be offering a remarkable collection of over 1000 classical, jazz and popular music CDs, LPs, and other rare musical items for sale. All proceeds will go to Saffron Hall Trust (registered charity no. 1153685).

Tours of the Hall

For the first time in Saffron Hall’s history, we are offering public tours of the venue. These 40-minute guided tours will give you exclusive backstage access and insight into the spaces normally hidden from view.

  • Please note:
Tours involve walking and may not have seating available throughout. This tour is wheelchair accessible.
Tours are free. If you enjoy yourself we welcome donations at the end to support our work.
Limited to 20 people per tour — advance booking is essential.

Refreshments & Giving Talk

Our bar will be open, serving coffee, soft drinks, and delicious cakes. You can also join a special talk by John Stirling, Chartered Financial Planner from Walden Capital, who will explain the benefits of charitable giving, leaving a legacy and how your support can make a lasting impact.

Live Performances

Enjoy musical performances throughout the morning from talented young musicians at the Saffron Centre for Young Musicians, our thriving Saturday music school.
