You are invited to come and meet the instruments of Aurora Orchestra! It’s time to sing, dance, play games and discover orchestral instruments.
As the postman delivers the invitations, we’ll bump into old friends and meet new neighbours. But who lives behind each door and what instrument do they play?
Find out in this lively, interactive concert for KS1 school groups, as Aurora Orchestra and two engaging presenters bring the world of orchestral music to life through fun, participation, and plenty of surprises.
This concert is supported by a range of resources on Aurora Classroom Aurora Orchestra’s award-winning creative learning programme, encompassing free digital resources for schools, training for teachers, and a world-class programme of live activity for children and young people. CPD – There will be two CPD sessions in preparation for this concert, both held online and open to London and Essex schools:
Wednesday 15 July, 3.45pm – an introduction to Aurora Classroom and our Meet the Instruments. This session will help your pupils get the most out of the concert and support teachers who chose to deliver the unit for the first time in autumn 2026.
Wednesday 9 September, 3.45pm – a session to introduce teachers to the songs and activities in the show that they might like to incorporate in their lessons in preparation for the trip.
