Courtney Pine: House of Legends

Courtney Pine: House of Legends

Presented by Saffron Hall

A close up of Courtney Pine playing the saxophone

If there’s one artist guaranteed to set Saffron Hall audiences on fire, it’s Courtney Pine.

Tonight, the unchallenged king of British jazz saxophone gets back to (very personal) basics, with a concert inspired by his 2012 hit album House of Legends. Musicians from Africa, the Caribbean and Europe come together in a mix of merengue, ska, Mento and calypso, as Pine celebrates his Afro-Caribbean musical heritage in exhilarating style.
