Foyer Jazz Club

Presented by Saffron Hall

Paul Higgs

End the week with a laid-back evening in the Saffron Hall foyer. A well-stocked bar, a superb selection of street food from Souvlaki Shack, plus live music from the Paul Higgs Quintet. Eat, drink, get into the swing and unwind!

Paul Higgs presents an evening of tunes by trumpet legend Miles Davis. At the forefront of many important jazz innovations from the 20th century, Miles Davis was also famous for his haunting lyrical sound. Paul's subtle and sensitive style, combined with his exquisite tone and virtuoso skill are perfectly matched to Miles' work. Playing well-known favourites and less familiar treasures, Paul is simply outstanding.

"Paul Higgs displays a gorgeous tone, unflagging inspiration, stylistic cognisance at its most perceptive and enviably faultless chops to boot!" - Digby Fairweather, BBC Radio 2 and 3 presenter and jazz trumpeter

The Saffron Hall bar will be serving from when the doors open at 7pm. This event will finish at approximately 10pm. Full menu for Souvlaki Shack can be found here.
