Foyer Jazz: Paul Higgs a tribute to Clifford Brown

Foyer Jazz: Paul Higgs a tribute to Clifford Brown

Presented by Saffron Hall

Black and White photo of Paul Higgs playing his trumpet with a mute in

Join renowned trumpet player and composer Paul Higgs for an evening of Jazz dedicated to American jazz trumpeter and composer Clifford Brown, who died tragically aged just 25.

Paul Higgs is known as one of the UK’s leading trumpet players and composers. Blending the traditions of classical and jazz, he has the rare ability to capture the most elusive of dreams in his music, expressing subtle emotions and bold exciting energy with equal ease. Melodies soar and float, while rich harmonies create shadows and depths beneath.
