Foyer Poetry: Lewis Buxton

Foyer Poetry: Lewis Buxton

Presented by Saffron Hall

Part of Foyer Clubs

Summer 2023 sees the introduction of poetry to our popular series of foyer events. Join us from 7pm for drinks and street food followed by a superb evening of live poetry featuring two support acts and headliner Lewis Buxton.

Join Lewis Buxton for an evening of poetry and spoken word. Blending poetry, comedy and storytelling, Buxton explores all the different types of boy you can be – tender, awful, thoughtful, vulnerable. Here, a maelstrom of mental health, male bodies, and sexuality is laid bare, with wit and curiosity, and the complexity and multiplicity of gender itself is revealed.

These poems are provocative, nuanced and often laugh-out-loud funny, shining with a naked, shameless brilliance.
