Saffron Hall’s spirit of collaboration burns bright in this performance of Messiah. It brings together one of the world’s premier period-instrument ensembles, emerging professional singers and our town’s choral society and their music director.
However well you think you know Messiah, every performance gives up more of its treasures. It’s an inspired and inspirational work that has transfixed us for nearly three centuries. Whether familiar with this masterpiece or hearing it live for the first time, this is a very special way to experience it.
