Folk and roots superstar Rhiannon Giddens is, in the words of the Smithsonian Magazine, an “electrifying singer and banjo player” who “gives fresh voice to old American traditions”.

She is joined at Saffron Hall by fellow multi-instrumentalist Francesco Turrisi, with whom she has enjoyed a long and fruitful collaboration, including a Grammy-nominated album There is No Other and Grammy-winning album They’re Calling Me Home.
