Cambridge Suzuki Young Musicians: Spring Piano Concert

Presented by Cambridge Suzuki Young Musicians

Audience members are kindly asked to register in advance for this event by booking free ticket(s) for their party before the day of the event.

Cambridge Suzuki Young Musicians is a group of 22 outstanding piano students aged 4-18 who study piano and Kodály Musicianship with Betty and Stephen Power in central Cambridge.

A number of CSYM students recently performed with distinction in the regional and national EPTA competitions and received first class awards in the Cambridge Competitive Music Festival and Saffron Hall Music Festival.

Our Spring Festival piano programme features a wide range of music from Baroque through the 20th & 21st centuries with a special focus on music by Polish and Ukrainian composers, including Chopin, Lutosławski and Viktor Kosenko.

The concert is free and open to the general public with a retiring collection in aid of the ‘Ukrainian National Suzuki Association’ to provide instruments and support the efforts of Suzuki string and piano teachers in Ukraine.
