Elgar: The Dream of Gerontius

Elgar: The Dream of Gerontius

Presented by Bishop's Stortford & Barnet Choral Societies

Please note, this is a rescheduled event from 17 July 2021. All ticket holders have been contacted with information about their options.

Probably Elgar’s most popular choral work, The Dream of Gerontius demands a large choir and strong orchestra. The two Choral Societies are coming together to perform this great work, under the baton of their Musical Director, Richard Brain, as a joint celebration of their 80th Anniversaries. They are joined by Forest Philharmonic, who combine professional and leading amateur players to achieve the highest of standards.
