Gilbert O’Sullivan

Gilbert O’Sullivan

Presented by Saffron Hall

Tickets from £35

Price includes a commission of £1.00

Gilbert O’Sullivan is one of the UK’s most enduring and respected singer-songwriters, with sixteen Top 40 singles to his name, six number one songs amongst them, including classics such as ClairGet Down, and Alone Again (Naturally).

That’s aside from 20 studio albums, three Ivor Novello Awards and three Grammy nominations. His ingenious songs are shot through with nostalgia, gentle melancholy and impish humour. The material is timeless, the man himself ageless.

O’Sullivan remains a troubadour for our times though, with irresistibly catchy melodies, lyrics to prick the conscience and delivered in those signature plaintive vocals, this is a master-craftsman at work. He is joined by acclaimed guitarist Bill Shanley for an intimate evening of unforgettable songs.
