London Philharmonic Orchestra with Alina Ibragimova

Presented by Saffron Hall

The London Philharmonic Orchestra return under the baton of their principal conductor Edward Gardner as they join forces with the acclaimed violinist Alina Ibragimova.

Please note that due to unforeseen circumstances, it has been necessary to change the first half of the programme. Bartók’s Violin Concerto has been replaced by Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto, and the opening piece will now be Tippett’s Suite for the Birthday of Prince Charles, in recognition of King Charles III’s Coronation on 6 May. The second half, Mahler’s Symphony No.5, remains unchanged.
