Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment: B Minor Mass

Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment: B Minor Mass

Presented by Saffron Hall

Seven members of the OAE standing in a forest surrounded by pink flowers holding their instruments

An exceptional line-up of musicians performs one of the great masterpieces of Western music: Bach’s monumental Mass in B minor.

Renowned for its revelatory performances of this repertoire, the peerless period instrumentalists of the OAE delve deeper and reveal new colours in Bach’s great statement of faith. Václav Luks makes his debut with the orchestra and is joined by a stellar group of soloists.

Are you aged 11-19?
We're running an exclusive pre-show experience for 11 to 19-year-olds. You'll get a chance to see behind the scenes what an OAE rehearsal is really like, then you'll get a chance to meet the players and get up close and personal with some of the historic instruments that the musicians play.

This pre-concert experience for 11-19s is free and participants are entitled to a free concert ticket. To take part, sign up via our online form
