Rutter & Chilcott: A Birthday Celebration

Rutter & Chilcott: A Birthday Celebration

Presented by Saffron Hall

Tickets from £15

Price includes a commission of £1.00

John Rutter and Bob Chilcott are towering figureheads of British choral music. Their sacred music, carols, part songs, and arrangements are adored by choral singers and audiences alike, whilst their unbridled energy as conductors, producers, and educators continues to breathe new life into the choirs and choral institutions young and old.

In the year they turn 80 and 70 respectively, the massed BBC choral and orchestral forces pay tribute to some of the most enduringly popular choral music of our time, music with an unerring ability to capture a mood or a moment and which speaks to us with a direct, poetic elegance and evergreen vitality.

This concert will be recorded live for Friday Night is Music Night.
