Presented by Saffron Hall

Part of Young Artist Concerts

Prodigiously talented young pianist George Harliono grew up near Saffron Walden, and he returns to bring us a programme full of delights.

Mozart’s sparkling variations embellish a humble dance tune with wit and charm, and Beethoven’s 32 Variations in C minor range from extreme virtuosity to quiet simplicity, while Clara Schumann found Brahms’ Paganini Variations so fiendishly challenging that she called them his “Witch’s Variations”.
