Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment: The Judas Passion
Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment: The Judas PassionPresented by Saffron Hall

In The Judas Passion, composer Sally Beamish and poet David Harsent retell the story of the crucifixion from the perspective of Judas Iscariot. This is the world premiere of what is sure to be one of the most important choral works of our time: a piece that asks the question – can the ultimate betrayal ever be forgiven?
In the first half of the concert, Tom Service leads a panel discussion with Sally Beamish and David Harsent about their new work.
This concert will finish at approximately 9.40pm
Orchestras for all: new ticket pricing scheme
Many of Saffron Hall's concerts, even ones that sell out, lose money.
In order to maintain our programme of orchestras from around the world we are asking those who can afford more to pay an amount that reflects the true cost of their attendance.
When you book top priced tickets online for orchestral concerts (such as this one) you will be given the opportunity to pay this new price. Please select the ‘Orchestras for all’ price type from the drop down menu.
This is completely optional and the additional support this provides will allow us to keep the arts accessible across the region. Your help is very much appreciated.
