Saffron Walden Symphony Orchestra

Presented by Saffron Walden Symphony Orchestra

A close up of the entire Saffron Walden Symphony Orchestra in concert.

The Saffron Walden Symphony Orchestra are delighted to welcome back Alex Redington for a performance of Korngold’s beautiful concerto, written in 1945, which uses themes from his film scores.

They open with Vaughan Williams’ pastoral tone picture as part of the RVW150 celebrations and conclude with Shostakovich’s brilliant and energetic 12th Symphony.
